Ingredients:
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
½ avocado, pitted
½ cup coconut sugar
¼ cup agave nectar
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chopped nuts (optional)
1 bar bittersweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a food processor, combine black beans, avocado, coconut sugar, agave nectar, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Process until smooth.
Transfer batter to a mixing bowl.
Stir in chopped chocolate and nuts, if desired.
Pour batter into a greased and lined 9x6-inch baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of bittersweet chocolate.
Add ½ teaspoon of instant coffee or espresso powder to the batter for a more intense chocolate flavor.
Top the brownies with whipped cream and fresh berries for a decadent treat
